June (The Round of the Months)
This sacred little month of June
Covered with the colours of harlequin, leads
us towards summer, gently,
lengthening the days discreetly.
Showers, frequent, cleanse nature
and leave behind them a blue sky.
Exhilarating, intoxicating
fragrances In a transparent universe.
And, however, we undoubtedly know
that when Saint Barnabas, under the celestial vault,
cuts off the foot of this poor Saint Medard
, the sleepy summer is never late.
And under a warm and bright
sun In this last month of spring
, the celebration of music
blossoms, taking us on a magnificent journey.
